Let’s face it: coffee is awesome. Coffee-induced brainstorming can lead to new businesses, books, top-notch work, blog posts and so much more. In fact, this post was inspired by the consumption of a hot cup o’ joe. Fortunately for coffee addicts, Knox-Henderson has a multitude of options for you to get your morning (or afternoon/evening) coffee:
You’ll want to put this on your list of coffee shops to try in Dallas. Launching in Spring of 2014, Houndstooth Coffee will be taking over the old space of The Pearl Cup on Henderson Avenue. Houndstooth Coffee only serves the finest coffees, teas, beer, wine and pastries and was originally launched in Austin, Texas. Get excited to get caffeinated. Stay up to date by following their Dallas-specific Twitter account.
If you’re looking for a coffee shop that knows what a good bean versus a bad bean is, this is your new favorite place. With a friendly staff and delicious coffee, you can’t go wrong. Don’t like coffee? Ask for one of their gourmet teas (think: Teavana quality) and you’ll be pleasantly surprised. After your morning coffee, run errands around Knox-Henderson and come back to Origin Kitchen + Bar for dinner and a custom craft cocktail.
Although it’s not a Knox-Henderson original, Starbucks is always a great place to stop in for a specialty coffee-based beverage (as evident by the #PSL craze). Out of all of the Starbucks locations in Dallas, this is one of the best with patio seating and a spacious interior. Since you’ve likely had Starbucks before, we suggest trying one of the local shops above (you won’t be disappointed). For more information about the Starbucks in Knox-Henderson, click here.
